Wood fuel & timber trading
Forklift loading a wrapped pallet into a shipping container

Two product lines — one supply chain.

Solid fuel that keeps buildings warm through the winter, and sawn wood products that go into them the rest of the year. We trade both out of the same supplier base, with the same inspection, packing and documentation behind each shipment.

Part one — Solid fuel

Heat, in the format the market buys it.

From a truckload of briquettes to a vessel of bulk pellets, we supply it in whatever format the buyer needs.

Wood pellets

Pressed from sawmill residue with no binder, pellets are the most standardised solid fuel we trade — which is exactly why the grade and the paperwork matter more than the price.

We supply residential-grade pellets for stoves and domestic boilers, and industrial grades for commercial heat plants where a wider ash tolerance is acceptable and volume is the priority. Residential material moves in 15 kg retail bags, shrink-wrapped and palletised to the retailer's own artwork; commercial buyers take big bags or bulk.

RUF wood briquettes with the embossed RUF mark

Briquettes

Dry sawdust pressed under high pressure into dense briquettes, in three formats: Pini-Kay, Nestro and RUF.

Each comes in birch, mixed hardwood or softwood, packed in 10 kg shrink packs on 960 kg pallets, under our own brands or the buyer's.

Two split birch firewood logs

Firewood

Hardwood logs, kiln-dried to less than 20 % moisture, cut to 25 or 30 cm and split to the buyer's preference.

Birch, alder, ash, beech, oak, hornbeam and mixed hardwood, packed in crates of 1 to 2 m³, in 22, 30 and 40 litre sacks or in retail boxes, with kindling bundles on the same load.

Part two — Wood products

Wood, in the format the market builds with.

Plywood, timber, cladding and decking come through the same supplier base as our fuel, with the same inspection and paperwork.

Birch plywood sheets stacked on a concrete floor

Plywood

Pine plywood from plantation forests in southern Brazil, bonded with phenolic glue and declared for structural use in humid conditions. The faces are sanded and open defects are plugged.

Birch plywood comes in two forms: plain sheets with BB/BB faces, and film-faced sheets with a dark brown film, smooth on one side and ribbed on the other.

Planed construction timber sections of different sizes on a concrete floor

Construction timber

Structural softwood, strength graded and CE marked, kiln-dried to a moisture content that will not move once it is in the frame.

Slow-grown Nordic and Baltic spruce and pine give tight growth rings and high strength for the section — which is why so much of Northern Europe's timber-frame housing is built from it. We supply rough sawn for structural carcassing, planed for exposed work, and cut-to-length packs for manufacturers running a fixed bill of materials.

Charred Yakisugi cladding boards on a concrete floor

Cladding & decking

Yakisugi: boards with a charred surface, for facades. Alongside them come thermally modified boards, spruce and pine, with pressure-treated pine for terraces.

Each order sets the profile, the grade and the finish. Packs are film-wrapped, length-sorted and end-sealed, and mixed profiles can travel on one load.

Beyond the list

If it comes out of a sawmill, ask us.

Pallet elements, garden products, fencing, glulam, wood chips, bark mulch, sawdust and shavings all move through the same supplier network. A product not shown here is usually a sourcing question, not a "no".

Send us a specification.

Tell us the product, the grade, the tonnage or volume, the packaging and the delivery point. You will get a landed price and a loading window back — usually the same working day.
