A trading house, not a middleman.
Anyone can quote a price. A buyer needs the right material, packed right, delivered on the promised date, with paperwork that passes customs and audit.
That is what we do. We hold the suppliers, inspect what we buy, pack and load it, clear customs and handle the documents. One contract, one contact, one invoice.

Trading is the visible part. The work that makes a shipment arrive correctly happens in six other places, and we do all of them in-house or with partners we have used for years.

Sourcing & purchasing
A standing supplier base across Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Poland and Ukraine, with dedicated purchasers who visit the mills. We buy on our own account, so a buyer's order is not contingent on us finding stock first.

Quality control
Moisture, ash, fines and calorific value checked against the contract before loading, not after arrival. Sampling and third-party laboratory analysis on request, with results attached to the shipping file.

Bagging & private label
15 kg retail bags, big bags and shrink-wrapped units, packed to your artwork and your barcode. We run bagging operations for retail chains and fuel distributors who need their own brand on the pallet.

Loading & transport
Full truck loads across Europe and containers on the deep-sea routes, on freight we contract ourselves — one company answerable for the goods and for their arrival.

Terminals & storage
Buffer stock held close to the ports and close to the customer, so peak heating-season demand is met from inventory rather than from a mill's production queue.

Documentation & compliance
Legality due diligence under the EU Timber and Deforestation Regulations, certification chain-of-custody where the market requires it, and the customs, phytosanitary and delivery paperwork that goes with each destination.
Markets & team
Fourteen markets, each with a person who speaks the language.
Litmer is organised by market, not by call centre. A buyer in Lyon, Aarhus, Milan or Warsaw deals with the same named trader every time, in their own language, with the authority to price and commit.
